I obviously think it's a good thing, because it help research towards cures for diabetes. I don't want to live with that for the rest of my life. Think of all the other diseases that could potentially have a cure; Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, cancer, etc.
It pisses me off so much when self-righteous people come along and say it's against God's will. I don't want to die from complications of diabetes because you're preaching to the government.
Pretty soon, there may be a way to make adult skin cells look like embryonic stem cells,so maybe there won't be as much bullshit surrounding the research. So far they have done it to mice in laboratories. I hope they can do it to humans too.
I'm glad our president reversed federal opposition to it.
On the Government funding, I'm not complaining. It may use tax payer's money, but it's for a good reason. It's not like it's being wasted towards something mundane or stupid. This research could potentially change the face of these diseases from incurable to curable.
Hmm, political rant. This means my Bob icon is relevant to this entry.
